Mike Kinsel Private Tours
We have a new travel partner: Go Girl Travel in Dallas, Texas, so check back regularly for new, exciting tours!
I am thinking about some small, intimate tours in 2009 and 2010:
Christmas Markets Tour
Germany & maybe France
Dec 1—9, 2009
Take a 9 day trip at Christmastime to Bavaria and Alsace. We fly to Munich then go to Strasbourg, France. It’s on to Heidelberg, Rothenberg, Nuremberg and back to Munich. It’s not shop till you drop but take an empty suitcase and do all your Christmas shopping early.
The Passion Play
Oberamergau and Rhine River Valley Wine Tour
June or July, 2010
Travel for 10 or 11 days to Germany (and maybe France). A cruise on The Rhine and its storybook charm. A religious experience of great proportions to see The Passion Play.
Then Wine Tasting and great food experiences.
The castles are fantastic. River cruising means close-up and personal with the sites and the land. It also means you unpack once!!!
Ghosts
London After Midnight
(Leave Christmas Day, 2009 and return January 3 or 4, 2010)
Visit ghostly haunts and sites where ghosts are known to exist during the centuries. It has been said that there are more ghosts per square inch in London than any city on earth.
The sales at Harrods are great. The plays and musicals are really exciting (I once saw 16 shows in 10 days). The museums, walking tours, quaint booksellers, etc. will make it a holiday to remember.
